Marlboro Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
The Marlboro Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1974. The course was designed by Algie M. Pulley, Jr.
The Marlboro Country Club golf course has a reputation for being a shotmakers course. This shotmaker's layout offers a challenging mix of par threes, strategic greenside bunkers, picturesque naturalized areas, and rolling terrain right in the heart of Prince George's County. This challenging yet fair layout is characterized by their signature 9th hole - a medium length par 4 over water - which promises to test every shot in your bag.
The Marlboro Country Club golf course plays a tight Par 71 and almost 6,100 yards. Offering three sets of tees on every hole to accomodate every level of player, Marlborough will surely be playable for the intermediate to beginner player while still challenging even the single digit handicapper.
Marlborough Country Club closed at the beginning of 2010 and were foreclosed upon in April 2011.
